What's the use of links not opening in a browser anymore ? Isn't this supposed to cause another set of incompatibilities with the in-built browser ? What was wrong with opening links in the default browser. Sounds like the next release will be over-engineered.

In this case I'd wager it's a costumer driven feature and I'd also imagine knowing Brent that this will be a preference and not a forced feature. Remember.. choice is good. :)

I'm not sure whether self-linking is OK here, but now you've linked to NNW and Pulpfiction, I'd be interested to know whther you're familiar wiht my own Shrook, which already has smart groups?

Michael: Brent isn't saying that you can't open links in your browser if you want to. He's giving you the choice to either "browse in place" or have links open in the default browser.

As for incompatibilities, keep in mind that NNW uses WebKit, so it's essentially the same browser as Safari.

Fair enough, Buzz - I certainly saw Brent's comment that this is an option. I just think that NNW should remain a light platform - a central point of reference rather than another "battleship with tons" of functionality that might not be requried. But thanks for the comment - I'm currently using NNW and particularly like (as many others I reckon) it's pure simplicity.
